Week 5, Day 2 Anticipation

I take my honors science class on an 11 hour field trip to the High Sierra to study it's plant communities and changing features as we ascend from the central valley to the timber line. Lakes Wishon and Cortright will be visited. A terrific day getting paid to take 37 thirteen year old up the mountains.
What makes this even better is 2 great fun days in class having kids measure calculate the speeds of their buggy cars.

Well, a short post. I gotta get up a 4:30.
